RN Nurses in Malden, Massachusetts

Malden is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. At the time of the 2010 United States Census, the population was at 59,450 people. In 2009, Malden was named the “Best Place to Raise Your Kids” in Massachusetts by Bloomberg Businessweek.

Malden, a hilly woodland area north of the Mystic River, was settled by Puritans in 1640 on land purchased in 1629 from the Pennacook tribe. The area was originally called the “Mistick Side” and was a part of Charlestown. It was incorporated as a separate town in 1649. The name Malden was selected by Joseph Hills, an early settler and landholder, and was named after Maldon, England. The city originally included what are now the adjacent cities of Melrose (until 1850) and Everett (until 1870).

At the time of the American Revolution, the population was at about 1,000 people, and the citizens were involved early in resisting the oppression of Britain: they boycotted the consumption of tea in 1770 to protest the Revenue Act of 1766, and it was also the first town to petition the colonial government to secede from the British Empire.

State of Massachusetts

For years, people in Massachusetts have earned college credit by passing exams that prove they have college level knowledge of various subjects. The most widely accepted of these exams are:

  • CLEP exams (College Level Examination Program)
  • DSST exams (DANTES Subject Standardized Tests), and
  • Excelsior College Exams (ECE).

RN NursingPrep was designed with one idea in mind: prepare individuals in Massachusetts to pass ECE and DSST exams through relevant and innovative nursing study guides. We knew RN NursingPrep’s online material had to be complete, current and user friendly.

RN NursingPrep courses are always up to date in their content:

  • The course curriculum is presented in the same order as you would learn in a traditional college or university or in online courses from those same schools.
  • There are required textbooks for each course.
  • Quizzes, assignments and exams are built into our online program.
  • The online program includes multi-media presentations, matching games and more to make learning fun.
  • All of RN NursingPrep’s materials can be used multiple times for you to really learn the subject. Not just one time on a quiz, but as many as you need for you to master the material.
  • The course is graded. When you have completed it, and met the grade requirements, you know you are ready to take your exam.

Our RN NursingPrep courses are complete, but if you want one-on-one support, you have the option of adding the expertise of a mentor: an MSN Prepared nurse teacher. You can choose this option when purchasing your course or you can add it later if you decide that you would like the extra help.

RN NursingPrep offers several options for purchasing your courses to meet your financial needs and personal time schedule.

There are General Education requirements for nursing degrees. If a student would like to use CLEP exams to fulfill them, our parent company www.speedyprep.com offers online preparation for 25 CLEP exams. A low monthly subscription allows unlimited access to all 25 courses.

There are various options for preparing for credit by examination: just winging-it, reading through text books or ploughing through workbooks. RN NursingPrep’s materials offer an alternative that is based on mastery learning technique: that repeated demonstration of correctly answering questions leads to facts and concepts being locked in your memory, ready to recall when you take your exam.

RN NursingPrep’s study courses do require textbooks so you can master the subject matter. The course will provide you with the facts, terms and concepts you need to know to pass your DSST or ECE exam. The explanations, power point presentations and videos in each chapter will give you added context and understanding of what you are learning.

RN NursingPrep work is done entirely online and can be used on any mobile device.

RN NursingPrep guarantees its courses. If you do not pass the first time and made a 90% or higher on all graded course material, RN NursingPrep will allow you to retake the course at no charge. Please review our Guarantee policy here.
